Pregnancy Care and Homebirth

I love to provide low-cost individual and group prenatal care, homebirth and waterbirth, with a focus on breastfeeding, mother-culture, friendship, and joy!

Prenatal Care

You can expect hour-long group or individual pregnancy care visits that focus on education, counseling, and mother-culture.

Homebirth

Homebirth midwifery care includes continuous support during your home birth - labor, birth, and third-stage postpartum recovery.

Waterbirth

I have invested in plenty of tubs and liners for my clients, so that you can choose an ECO Birth Pool in a Box or an AquaDoula birth tub at no extra charge, including draining and removing the birth tub after your birth.

Postpartum Care

Complete postpartum care of mother and newborn baby. Two home visits postpartum, and then as many group or individual postpartum visits as needed or desired, with a focus on the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of you and your baby, and breastfeeding SUCCESS!

Ultrasounds and Labs

Optional, professional, labwork and ultrasounds as needed or desired.

Additional Services

Well-woman care, consultation and referral service for area physicians and other family service providers.

Childbirth Education

Nationally certified Bradley Method® childbirth classes at no additional charge for my clients, or referrals to other local childbirth educators.

Doula Care

I occasionally provide hospital doula services for Southern Nevada hospitals.

Breastfeeding Assistance

I strongly encourage every mother to attend La Leche League Meetings beginning in early pregnancy. I provide my clients with individual breastfeeding helping, and am glad to provide referrals to the best lactation consultants in the Las Vegas area. Successful, joyful mothering through breastfeeding might just be my top goal as a midwife and friend to mothers!

Birth Certificate and Social Security Card

As your midwife, I will help you with filing your birth for your baby's birth certificate and social security number.

Public Speaking Engagements

I love to speak to groups! I would be happy to speak to any group on any of these topics: Healthy pregnancy and childbirth, Home-birth, water-birth, and traditional midwifery, mother-culture, and Classical Christian home-schooling.
